About the Auction

Since our humble beginnings 40 years ago, CU Medicine has thrived to become one of the world’s top medical schools, serving as a hub of talented students, physicians and scientists who are committed to making a difference and having a positive impact on healthcare. To commemorate our 40th Anniversary, CU Medicine will hold the 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 8 October 2023 (Sunday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which brings nearly 2,000 guests together to celebrate CU Medicine’s achievements and major milestones over the past four decades.

CU Medicine is honoured and privileged to have our talented academic staff and medical alumni contribute to the 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner by creating or giving their stunning and favourite artworks and collections for this special occasion. Their fascinating artworks and sense of aesthetic presented in the art works and collections are dearer to our heart and inspirational to anyone.

This online auction is created to showcase the artworks and collectibles from 7 renowned professors and medical alumni, reflecting their imaginative perspective and passion for the arts. In the meantime, the auction aims to raise funds and create a pinnacle of the 40th Anniversary celebration! The auction item(s) will be presented at the Gala Dinner, as part of the programme*. Auction proceeds will be used for the advancement of the Faculty’s development in medical education, research and community services.
